JUMP START...WHAT IS IT?
The Jump Start package is new for April 2008 retreat. In the past the retreat packages have been Friday thru Sunday only. Many of you have expressed to us your desire to have just one more day added to your scrapbooking vacation. We understand that when you're having as much fun as we do at retreat time just seems to fly by. We decided to add Thursday as an option on your retreat package. By adding Jump Start to your retreat package you receive an extra nights sleeping room (for Thursday evening) at the hotel, access to the crop room and our Jump Start crop party at 6:00pm Thursday evening. By adding this package you will also have access to the crop room all day on Friday. Without Jump Start you will not be able to enter the crop room until 1pm on Friday. What a deal! Be sure to mark Jump Start on your registration today!
THE CROP ROOM
Your group will have assigned seating in the crop room. We will automatically assign scrappers that are rooming together at the same table in the crop room. If there's another group of scrappers you would like to be seated with please email me at tr126@yahoo.com. No personal radios allowed in the crop room unless you have headphones. If you tend to get chilly (like I do) please be sure to pack a sweater or sweatshirt as its hard to control the temperature in the crop room. The crop room will be available around the clock however if anytime after 1am there is nobody scrappin we will lock the doors and reopen the crop room at 6am. Since you all like to bring everything but the kitchen sink with you to retreat we will allow you to set up ONE (1) extra card table per group but please leave room in your vehicle for clothes, Nobody likes a smelly scrapper. All door prizes will be awarded on Saturday night between 7pm and Midnight, so that nobody misses out while they are in classes or out shopping. Limited electrical outlets are available, those who need to be seated by one please email me and I will do my best when assigning tables, however do plan ahead and pack an extension cord and a roll of duct tape to secure your cord to the floor to prevent trips. Due to fire regulations no burning candles will be allowed in the crop room.
THE SCRAP YARD
The Scrap yard is a place for you to sell off your extra scrapbook supplies. Feel free to pre-make layouts, paper piecings, punch art and more to sell. All items must be put in a Ziploc bag with your name, asking price and your table number. (Cropping tables will be numbers at the retreat.) Scrappers will be responsible for finding the sellers and paying them. Past Reflections is not responsible for lost or damaged items. The Scrap yard will be available throughout the entire weekend. For those items you have not sold by the end of the weekend and you dont want to pack pack up and take home, there will be a box available for donations to the Ronald McDonald House. This has always been a lot of fun!!
